Figueres Dalí Theatre-Museum — Costa Brava Board

Souvenir cutting board featuring the DalГ­ Theatre-Museum in Figueres — the largest surrealist object in the world, designed by Salvador DalГ­ himself. Built on the ruins of the old municipal theatre where DalГ­ had his first exhibition at age 14, the museum is crowned with giant eggs and golden bread-roll decorations on its rooftop. Inside lies the world’s largest collection of DalГ­’s works, and the artist himself is buried in a crypt beneath the stage. Over 1.4 million visitors per year make it Catalonia’s most visited museum after the Sagrada FamГ­lia.
