Pamplona San Fermín — Running of the Bulls Board

Souvenir cutting board celebrating Pamplona’s legendary San FermГ­n festival — nine days of adrenaline, tradition, and spectacle held every July 6-14. The festival’s centerpiece is the encierro (Running of the Bulls): every morning at 8:00 AM, six fighting bulls and their herding steers charge 875 meters through the narrow cobbled streets of the old town to the bullring, with thousands of white-clad, red-scarved runners sprinting alongside and ahead of them. The entire run lasts just 3-4 minutes but creates a lifetime of memories. Made world-famous by Ernest Hemingway’s ‘The Sun Also Rises’ (1926), San FermГ­n attracts over 1 million visitors to a city of just 200,000 — the most intense festival experience in Spain.
